STEP 1:
Santa Rosa Beach Photographer Session Fees & 30A photographer beach permits

So, what's the dealio with beach permits? What if I have private beach access?

First things first, to keep things totally legit on those gorgeous Walton County beaches, even if you have private beach access, we gotta have a vendor permit. Beach Code Enforcement ain't playing around, honey! A $500 ticket is NOT on our fun list. So, that session fee? It covers all the official stuff, like permits and insurance. Plus, we're throwing in a totally rad online gallery for you to check out your photos for two weeks!

Now, about that session fee. It locks in a whole lotta fun with a premier Santa Rosa Beach Photographer from Click 30A Photography.  It's non-refundable, but hey, it's good for a whole year to use on a Surfside Beach Photo Session! Or, if you wanna be super generous, you can pass it along to a friend or family member.

Here's the nitty-gritty:

  • SESSION FEE: $$$ to book your spot!

  • What you get: Session Consultation, prep guide, photographers time, quick flow posing, crush it on camera, figure flatting tips plus gallery turnaround within 3 weeks with a 10 day online gallery of images based on your Pose needs!

  • What's extra: Digital downloads, prints, and all those cool products are a separate purchase.

Want more time, more photos, more fun? We can definitely do that! Extended family, big groups, two locations, or even a quick outfit change? Just let us know, and we'll make it happen!

Santa Rosa Beach Photographer Rain Refund Policy

Click 30A Photography: Where we dance with the clouds for Surfside Beach Memories at Golden Hour!

We're based on the Gulf Coast, so we're big fans of those dramatic, cloud-filled skies – they're perfect for creating stunning beach photos! We actually love overcast days because they give us the best natural light.

Rain happens, especially here, but we're usually prepared! However, during our busiest times, there might be rare occasions when the weather just won't cooperate, and we can't offer a backup plan (like a different date/time or an indoor location). If this happens, we'll issue a refund for your session fee, minus a small $25 processing fee. We'll do everything we can to make your experience amazing, rain or shine!

Santa Rosa Beach Photographer Permitting

Click 30A Photography is a licensed business in the state of Florida in Walton County. As a Santa Rosa Beach Photographer, I am required to carry vendor beach permits for all "PROFESSIONAL" or paid services I perform on the beach based on headcount (note: anything over 29 people or a bonfire is considered a special event permit and requires permits from Fire Department as well.

WHY DOES HEADCOUNT MATTER?

As a destination vacation photographer, we encounter groups from 2 people up to 29 people on the beach for a portrait session. Obviously, the larger the group, the more time needed for not only prep, but also multiple group breakdowns.

As for Walton County permits on headcount....While I don't have an exact answer for that, I can provide some general reason why a county might charge for beach vendor permits:

  • Regulation and Control: Permits allow the county to regulate the number and types of vendors on the beach, ensuring a balance between commercial activity and public enjoyment.

  • Safety and Public Order: Permits can be used to ensure vendors meet safety standards, have proper insurance, and operate in a way that doesn't disrupt public order.

  • Environmental Protection: Permits may include conditions to protect the beach environment, such as Sea Turtle protection, waste disposal requirements or restrictions on certain activities.

  • Fairness: Permits can create a level playing field for vendors, ensuring they all adhere to the same rules and pay similar fees.

For the most accurate information, I recommend checking the official Walton County government website or contacting the relevant local authorities like Alys Beach or Rosemary Beach for specific photography permit requirements. They will have the most up-to-date and specific details about their permit process.
